A place that I have had been associated with since early childhood, the Tapora peninsular, Kaipara, New Zealand, has been an endless source as a stage-set for my humanistic dramas. Here it is merely a landscape homage to the place with only subtle evidence of human intervention, a couple of tracks in the mud. Interestingly, over my 45 years of invasion upon this coast, it has constantly been in a protean state of erosion so that from year to year the coastal strip changes almost beyond recognition
